WOW - Huge Purchases in the IT World

Two big purchases this week in the IT world.

Facebook closed a huge deal with Microsoft this week. A $240 million investment values Facebook at $15 BILLION!!! Thats right, I’ll spell it out, Fifteen Billion Dollars. Is it REALLY worth that much?

In other news, American Greetings Corp purchased Webshots for $45 million from CNet. VERY interesting, considering that CNet bought Webshots for $70 million just 3 years ago.
