Social networking plays a huge role in our everyday lives. We use Facebook, mySpace, hi5 etc to keep in touch with our friends and family. How about using social network to maintain communication with customers? We can use weekly bulletins and posts links to special offers on our site.
Social bookmarking is an extremely valuable marketing tool. Facebook sold a 1.6% share to Microsoft for $246 million. That values Facebook at $15 billion. Facebook receives 100,000 new users a day.
Use Facebook and other social networks to your advantage. Create a group for your business and invite your customers. This is a tremendous viral opportunity. When your customers accept your invitation, their friends will be notified. Here’s a great example: If you send out an offer to five people, each of those users have an average of 50 friends in their list. Your invite to five customers turned into 250 exposures. Be sure to create a group with a catchy title and description. Post your group information on business cards, brochures and other marketing material.
Keep your group informed of specials, new products, reviews and general news! Increase customer loyalty with Social networking.
