The latest domain statistics are in. As the selection of dot coms dwindle down, people continue to turn to other domain extensions such as dot org and dot net.
DailyDomainer.com has compiled charts detailing the share amongst the top level domains. There are over 168 million registered domains out there. Here are the top TLDs:

The latest domain statistics are in. As the selection of dot coms dwindle down, people continue to turn to other domain extensions such as dot org and dot net.

DailyDomainer.com has compiled charts detailing the share amongst the top level domains. There are over 168 million registered domains out there. Here are the top TLDs:

2) DE
3) CN
4) NET
5) UK
6) ORG

DE is ranked #2, which comes as a surprise to me but that rest makes sense.
